How To Do Video Marketing – Video Marketing Secrets – BJ Min

by BJ on June 12, 2009

The last time that I checked YouTube was number
2 on the Alexa hit parade? Yes, it's true. If
you're an Internet marketer, you need to make a
note of this because video isn't going to go
away any time soon and if you want to be in on
the craze and make the most out of your marketing
efforts. So let's look at some tips that will help
to make your videos effective.

Tip #1 – Make the quality of your video the best that you can
There are limits to the length and the size that your
video can be. If you go over 10 minutes, your video
will be rejected. If you go over 100 meg, your video
will also be rejected. You can create a Camtasia video
in FLV format instead of AVI or MOV format. This will
greatly reduce the size of the finished video. This will
be very important if you're going to upload the video
to your own site as bandwidth can get used up very fast
with large videos.

Tip #2 – Make your audio source as clean as possible

In order to have a audio as clean as possible, you want
to use the best microphones that you can.
Camtasia audio has a tendency to be a little scratchy
with certain microphones. If you find that your audio
quality isn't very good, you might want to first try
recording the audio into Audacity, and then import it
into Camtasia. The audio quality will sound much better.

Tip #3 – Use Camtasia's callout feature

This tip allows you to create URLS that the viewer
can click on. This allows the viewer to click on
the URL and the site will either open in the same
window as the video or a different window. In order
for this to work, you create a flash hot spot and
then you enter the URL into the hot spot that you
want the person to go to. You can set it so that
you can either have the URL open in the same window
as the video or a different window.
