Have you ever thought about creating your own product?
I know that the thought can send shivers up your back.
You aren't the only one. To a lot of people the whole
idea of this type of project can be very overwhelming
as well as a seemingly daunting task. Let me give you
some very basic steps that will get you started on
your way and also help to simplify your work on any
type of product creation.

Start out by asking yourself some questions.

Step #1 – What problems does your target market have?
If you are going to create a product, you want to make
sure that you have a reason to create it. There is no
sense in going to all that hard work if noone will
has a need to read it. So, you must create your product
so that it will help to solve a problem. You will then
have people falling all over themselves to read it.

Step #2 – What problems will your product solve?
Again, in our previous step, we spent some time finding
out what problems our future customers have. Now it
is important to decide what problems your product will

Step #3 – What information do you already have that
can solve some of your target market's question. What's
kind of neat is that you might have written some articles,
you might have read some books, you might have posted
to some forums some information that might solve these
problems. If you have this information, then all you
have left to do is to gather it into some structure.
If you don't have any information, think about who you
know. Do you know any experts who know how to solve
the problem that you are focusing on? If you do know
one, why not interview that person? After you have done
the interview, then you can take the audio information
and put it into book form.

You can ask several people to write an article about how
your problem can be solved and then compile all the
articles into one book. There are a lot of books that
are written this way and they have been very successful.

If you don't like any of these suggestions, you can
look for a ghostwriter to write the book for you or
just outsource the work.

Step #4 – After you have completed the content, find a
graphic designer to give your book a nice professional

Step #5 – The final step is to market your new product
and make money with your new product. With this new
product, you can either sell it or give it away.

Incorporate these steps into your product creation plan
and you will find that the daunting task might not be
quite so overwhelming.
